to the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History to construct a new and expanded
marine educational Sea Center building
on Stearns Wharf, including interactive exhibits and hands-on displays for
kindergarten through 12th-grade school children, as well as visiting
tourists and local residents.
4. Consideration
and possible Conservancy authorization to disburse up to $250,000
to the City of Santa Barbara to
implement the Goleta Slough Tidal
Restoration Demonstration Project.
5. Consideration and possible Conservancy
authorization to disburse up to $500,000 to the City of Morro Bay for
construction of a pedestrian
boardwalk on the Morro Bay Harbor waterfront.
6. Consideration and possible Conservancy
authorization to disburse up to $400,000 to the City of San Luis Obispo for acquisition of the Ahearn Ranch in
the San Luis Obispo Creek watershed.
7. Consideration and possible Conservancy authorization to disburse up to $300,000 to the
Cambria Community Services District for improvements to the Coastal
Trail on the East West Ranch in northern San Luis Obispo County.
8. Consideration
and possible Conservancy authorization to
disburse up to $545,000 to the City of Pacifica
to implement the second phase of the San Pedro Creek Watershed Enhancement
Plan.

9. Consideration and possible Conservancy
authorization to disburse up to $1,500,000 to the San
Dieguito River Park Joint Powers Authority for the acquisition of the Boudreau Property on the San Dieguito
River.
10. Consideration and possible Conservancy
authorization to disburse up to $300,000 to the City
of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks for final project development and preparation of
environmental compliance documents for improvement of the water quality and
habitat of Machado Lake and
Wilmington Drain.
San Francisco Bay
11. Consideration and possible Conservancy
authorization to disburse up to $575,000 to the Solano Land Trust toward the
acquisition of the 1408-acre Eastern
Swett Ranch in Solano County.
12. Consideration and possible Conservancy
authorization to disburse up to $375,000 to Greenbelt Alliance, acting through
the Bay Area Open Space Council, to further the natural resource and
recreational goals of the San Francisco Bay
Area Conservancy Program.
13. Consideration and possible Conservancy
authorization to disburse up to $500,000
to the Santa Clara County Parks and Recreation Department to construct
shoreline access and recreation improvements at Alviso Marina County Park.
14. Consideration
and possible Conservancy authorization: 1) for
the Association of Bay Area Governments to disburse $186,381 of previously
authorized Conservancy funds, and 2) to
disburse up to $250,880 of additional funds to the East Bay Regional Park
District for public access and recreation improvements at Tidewater Park in the Martin Luther King,
Jr. Regional Shoreline.
15. Consideration and possible Conservancy
authorization to disburse up to $300,000 to the California Department of Water
Resources for the acquisition of the 668-acre Meins Landing property in the
Suisun Marsh in Solano County, California.
North Coast
16. Consideration
and possible Conservancy authorization to
disburse up to $260,000 to the California Department of Parks and Recreation
for immediate public uses and facility planning, environmental analysis, and
property cleanup on public land for the Carrington Ranch in coastal
Sonoma County.
Consent
17. Consideration
and possible Conservancy action on the following Consent Items:
a.
Authorization to disburse up to $55,000 to the Ojai
Valley Land Conservancy to augment funds,
authorized by the Conservancy on January 23,
2003, to preserve, restore, and provide public access to Farmont Ranch, on the Ventura River
adjacent to the City of Ojai, Ventura County, specifically for the restoration
of trail corridors for habitat and erosion control.
b.
Authorization to disburse up to $110,000 to the San Elijo Lagoon Conservancy to implement the Habitat Enhancement Plan for the Manchester
Site in the city of Encinitas, San Diego County.
c.
Authorization to amend the Conservancy’s
authorizations of October 26, 2000 and February 27, 2003, regarding the feasibility of removing Matilija Dam,
Ventura County, by increasing the total grant amount to $1,950,000, and
authorizing the disbursement of these additional funds as a grant to the County
of Ventura.
d.
Authorization to amend the August 14, 2003 Conservancy
resolution to eliminate one acceptance of an offer to dedicate a public access
easement by the County of Santa Cruz from the conditions of the 26th Avenue Stairway
construction project.
e.
Authorization to disburse up to $74,000 to the Golden
Gate National Parks Conservancy to determine
the alignment of the Coastal
Trail on property recently acquired by the National Park Service
at Mori Point in Pacifica, San Mateo
County, and to prepare plans and construction documents necessary for
development of the trail.
f.
Authorization to
disburse up to $61,500 to the City of Brisbane
to acquire two parcels within Brisbane Acres, an unrecorded subdivision located
on the upper slopes of San Bruno
Mountain in the City of Brisbane.
g.
Authorization to disburse up to $200,000 of previously
authorized Conservancy funds to the San
Francisco Estuary Institute to manage the map-based database, tabular data
warehouse and access system, and project web site for the South Bay Salt Pond Restoration Project.
h.
Authorization to disburse up to $35,000 to develop
detailed engineering plans and complete environmental review for a fish passage project in Marsh Creek,
in the city of Brentwood in Contra
Costa County.
i.
Authorization to disburse $125,000 to Sail San
Francisco for tall
ships expositions and environmental education projects.
j.
Modification of the Conservancy’
April 25, 2002 authorization to disburse funds to the Sonoma County Regional
Parks for the Joe Rodota/West
County Regional Trail project through the authorization to disburse the
additional amount of up to $197,000 for the construction of a pedestrian/bicycle
bridge over Santa Rosa Creek, rather than trail construction on an existing
railroad right-of-way overpass, and for the construction of the remaining
segment of the Joe Rodota/West County Regional Trail.
k.
Authorization
to disburse up to $40,000 to Sonoma County to conduct a geotechnical
investigation and engineering feasibility study in the vicinity of an eroded
portion of the Bluff Top Trail
Public Access Easement, seaward of Lots 23-25 at The Sea Ranch, and
to conduct appraisals of easements and other studies on other sections of the
Bluff Top Trail that may be susceptible to collapse.
l.
Authorization to disburse up to $50,000 to Trout
Unlimited to prepare the Noyo River
Plan to identify, prioritize, and project costs for strategic habitat
restoration projects determined to meet the plan goal of improved fishery
resource, water quality, and harbor viability.
m.
Authorization to disburse up to $353,400 to the Smith
River Alliance to undertake Phase II of the feasibility analysis and
preacquisition activities for the Pacific
Shores subdivision, Del Norte County.
